Our last day at Compass

We sure have been blessed and amazed to be included as a part of the training staff at Mission Training International's Compass program this January.  We spent nearly two weeks together with missionaries going to more that 20 different countries!  What an incredible opportunity for the Word to spread.

Amy & I were thrilled to be invited to teach again and to share of our experiences on the field.  I'm constantly amazed at how our gifts, talents, and experiences are truly part of His awesome plan.  When I studied linguistics at university I had no idea that it would be so useful later on in my life!

Delayed...again.

And we're finally off.  After our flights to Colorado have been canceled for the last 3 days - we're finally on our way to Colorado to train new missionaries with Mission Training International.  The "snowpacalypse" or 2014 has made getting out of Indiana pretty tough.

It's been an interesting lesson in patience and waiting.  We're so excited to be going to teach, but are having trouble waiting for the right timing to get out of Indianapolis.  Why is it that waiting is so hard?  Why isn't patience a typical and easy skill to develop?  I'm not saying that I want to learn more patience (because asking for more patience is rough - that means more trying situations).

Gideon is becoming a professional traveler already!

And he has such high levels of patience for one so young... waiting in the airport... again...
