Return of the world's worst blogger.

A gasp from the crowd, explodes as their anticipation is rewarded. Yes, they've been anxiously awaiting an update from Siberia...

Well, Spring sprang long ago (over 2 weeks now) and the trees are budding and there are little green blades of grass sprouting up all over. It was supposed to rain today (it's May Day), but instead the day dawned with a cloudless, blue sky and a gorgeous freshness to the air.

Today is a national holiday in Russia, it's like Labor Day here. There was a parade of demonstrations, and there are kids with balloons everywhere. It's really fun, because little girls have these puffs in their hair that remind me of loofa sponges.

We're about to leave with the two B!ble college professors Dan (who refers to himself on his blog as The Dan) and Peter (who is referred to with great humor on Dan's blog as The Calvinist). It's a real hoot to read. -- I lost my thought, sorry.

So we're off to our first Dacha visit of the season. A dacha is a cottage built at someone's vegetable garden. So we're going there with interpreters tonight to have Shashlik (like Russian shish-ka-bob -- btw Russians think that shish-ka-bob sounds funny.... have you heard the work Shashlik?) Any way.

I'll followup with some pictures soon.
